Lionfish Spotted at Deerfield Beach Pier Clean-up

We’ve been following a link on the Scubaboard about the Deerfield Beach Pier Cleanup and noticed that there was a picture of a Lionfish.
We’re happy to report that ScubaBrett22 (also known as Lionfish Slayer) took it upon himself to slay that interloper after the picture and here’s the video to prove it:

Very interesting. Here in Malta we do similar diving activities such as this one to keep the sea bed as clean as possible. One can also visit the various wrecks and fish in our sea.
Do you have any problems with alien species like Lionfish too?
